As a lawyer who loves Chicago history and the law, I decided to write a legal mystery series incorporating my two passions.  

Appealing to mystery readers, legal whodunit fans, and Chicago history enthusiasts alike, the first novel in the series introduces a Chicago criminal defense lawyer and private investigator who is an avid local history and architecture buff. 

As a partner at two major law firms and a U.S. Department of Justice trial lawyer, I tried numerous cases in state and federal courts and was involved in many fascinating legal matters. I bring that extensive legal experience to my mystery series.
